The Littlest Hoglet (2024)

Working as the primary set and prop builder, for the mini series 'The Littlest Hoglet', to raise awareness for hedgehogs, commissioned by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.

Behind the Scenes

Watch this video to see behind the scenes on how I created the bricks for the houses, as well as more insight into how this production was made.

For this episode, I created the cat food can, which was made from various papers to give different material textures. Using different types of paper also helped in creating the rest of the litter around the bin in this scene, with the cardboard box.

The brick houses I mentioned in the behind the scenes video can be seen at the start of episode five of The Littlest Hoglet. The windows used clear plastic to replicate glass windows, and thin pieces of wood for the panes. Creating the brick walls involved scoring foam board before painting with a rusty red colour, aging the bricks afterwards with darker colours.
